Clark is a well-rounded player with a chance for five tools to grade out average or better. He's one of the best pure hitters in the 2023 class, with a smooth, balanced swing that's quick, compact and comes through the hitting zone with good bat path. He has good hand-eye coordination, so he seldom swings and misses, and he has a good eye for the strike zone. In games he takes a line-drive, hit-first approach, but he has good bat speed and the strength projection in his athletic, well-proportioned frame to project above-average power in the future, with the ability to go deep to his pull side now. Clark is also a well above-average runner who should stick in center field, where he has good instincts and a strong arm, with the ability to reach the low 90s when he's on the mound. It's a strong mix of athleticism, tools and skills at a premium position that should put Clark in line to be one of the top picks in the 2023 draft.

White isn't just the best pitching prospect in the 2023 class, he's one of the best lefties his age to come around in years. He has remarkable body control and a smooth, easy delivery for someone his age and size. With loose arm action and low-effort mechanics, White throws strikes with a fastball that explodes on hitters. He sits in the low 90s with the ability to reach 95 mph, spin rates in the 2,250 to 2,400 range and pitchability that's advanced for his age. White throws a curveball and has introduced a slider into his mix, showing feel to spin his breaking stuff as he learns to refine the shape of each pitch. He has also thrown a promising changeup that has been his most effecctive offspeed pitch this summer with good separation off his fastball and late diving action when he executes it down in the zone.

Cupp has advanced game skills for his age, good present tools and the mix of fluid actions and physical projection for his ability to continue trending up. An average runner, Cupp projects to stick at shortstop, where he moves his feet well with soft hands, reading the ball well off the bat with a good internal clock. At the plate, Cupp has a sound swing from the right side with good bat speed, strike-zone judgment and contact skills. He has the power to go deep now, with the bat speed and space on his lean, athletic frame to project more juice coming once he fills out.

Ford would be one of the best prospects in the 2023 class if he were strictly an infielder or a pitcher only, but his two-way potential moves him up even higher. At the plate, Ford has good bat speed and hits for power in games now with the size and strength projection to develop plus power. A below-average runner, Ford profiles well at third base, where he has a strong arm. That arm strength is most evident on the mound, with a fastball that sat 95-96 mph and reached 97 mph in June 2021 at the Perfect Game Junior National showcase. It's an outstanding fastball already for his age, with the potential to eventually reach triple digits, and he backs it up with a bat-missing slider.

Miller is one of the more accomplished players in the 2023 class, going back to representing his country for USA Baseball's 12U national team in 2016 and winning a gold medal for USA's 15U national team in 2019. Miller has a strong offensive track record, excellent bat speed and makes some of the hardest contact in the class, with the potential to grow into plus power. He has a strong arm with the defensive skill set and offensive upside to project at third base. The arm strength translates on the mound as well, with a fastball that parks at 89-92 mph and has touched 94.

Jenkins is one of the most exciting players in the nation. He has a lean, athletic build with good strength projection in his 6-foot-3 frame. He whips the barrel through the zone well with good bat speed and power, with 25-plus home run potential and a knack for barreling the ball with impact the opposite way. He has shown a patient approach when he has faced more advanced pitchers as well. Jenkins is a slightly above-average runner who moves well enough to handle center field for now, though as he gets bigger he might move over to right field. He has the tools to be a good defender there, with an arm that's plus now and could tick up a grade as he gets stronger.

West is one of the most exciting players to watch in the 2023 class. He isn't that big, but he blends quick-burst athleticism with a good balance of tools and in-game skills. He's a plus-plus runner who should stick in center field. At the plate, West has a short, quick stroke from the left side with good swing path and feel for the barrel to drive the ball well to all fields.

Holcomb physically looks like he belongs in a major league uniform today. He's 6-foot-4, strong and athletic with a mature tool set for his age, with a combination of strength and bat speed to produce plus raw power. Holcomb taps into that power against live pitching too, with one of the better offensive track records among 2023 hitters. His power and plus arm both rank among the best in the class. Holcomb has the arm strength for the left side of the infield, though at his size, he likely outgrows shortstop and shifts to third base. He is athletic for his size, with slightly above-average speed, although that tool might back up as he gets into pro ball.

Anderson is one of the younger players in the 2023 class, but he has good size and feel in the batter's box beyond his years. He has an advanced, mature offensive approach for his age, reccognizing pitches well and staying disciplined within the strike zone. Anderson has the patience to draw walks and is a high-contact hitter from both sides of the plate. He has a smooth stroke with good rhythm and balance. It's a hit-over-power profile right now, with the physicality and bat speed to project average or more power to come later. A fringe-average runner, Anderson should be able to play somewhere in the infield, though there's a chance he could outgrow shortstop. His arm is strong, reaching 89 mph on the mound, but his future is brightest as a hitter.

Milam is smaller in stature, but he's one of the most skillful players in the class with an outstanding track record of hitting. A gold medal winner for USA Baseball's 15U national team in 2019, Milam was the MVP of Perfect Game's Sophomore World Wood Bat Association in September 2020, then won MVP at the WWBA Underclass the next month. He's a disciplined hitter with outstanding contact skills from both sides of the plate, and while he's not a burner, he's a fundamentally sound defender at shortstop with instincts and game savvy well beyond his years.
